We’re a friendly, non-auditioning choir that’s always looking to recruit new singers. If you’re interested please either contact our Membership Secretary, Linda (membership@skiptonchoralsociety.com) or just come along to any rehearsal and try us out for free, whether you’re a tenor, bass, soprano or alto – or aren’t sure which voice part you are! However, if you’re an alto, we currently have a waiting list, so you’ll have to wait a while before you can become a member.
“I like to bring a bit of humour to rehearsals,” said Robert Webb, musical director of Skipton Choral Society. “It’s about singing musically and singing as a group. It’s about that blended sound.”
Rehearsals are from 7.15pm to 9:15pm on Mondays in Christ Church, Skipton, from September through to July (with breaks for Christmas, Easter and half-terms).
